“ I love this place! It has a trendy vibe and a cool tapas! My husband and I ordered 5 tapas to share, 2 drinks, cheesecake, and cafécito - we were stuffed! Great service and reccommendations. I would definitely eat here again! ”
“ This was probably one of the best meals we’ve eaten in Spain. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it. It was quiet when we were there, but it is a beautiful restaurant and I can’t compliment the chef enough. Excellent ”
“ Nomen est omen … not a typical Spanish bar. A nice ambience in a bit more modern style. Food was really good and service was excellent. We got the chance to be the very first to test a new creation called „Cafe Horizonte del Desierto“. Very delicious . ”
“ Friendly ambiance above a local bar (watch out to take the right door which leads into the restaurant, while the main entry leads into the bar!), with a very city-like feeling while being tucked away from the main tourist places in Ávila. The food has great, fresh ingredients and offers a twist to "standard" spanish tapas - we had a warm goatscheese with honey, panko-fried gambas, truffle gnocchi, a beef tartare and a cheesecake. All dishes were made with attention to detail and delicious! The service was good, too, and while the house wine is a bit fruity for our taste, the waiter did not hesitate to offer a drier alternative upon request. We had a lovely evening and can recommend this place for anyone visiting Ávila and wanting a different tapas experience at fair prices (we paid roughly 60EUR for all of the above). Thanks for having us! ”
“ The food was great . Great atmosphere. It's really a cool place to eat and hang out. ”
“ Small restaurant which is atypical. We ordered 4 dishes and wanted to have them served seperatly, two by two. That was not possible, the cook decides apparently and the customer is not king here. When you get 4 dishes at once the last will be cold before you've finished the first. So we cancelled two dishes and after eating those the waiter slid the menu back to us without looking. So apparently we'd won and ordered two more. The food made everything good, so don't skip it for the brusque waiter. Desserts were delicious as well. ”
“ Great food, excellent service. Only that I wished we are seated better. The restaurant is not full when we entered so tables on the other side of the restaurant should be available. Otherwise, the experience is fantastic. ”
